Countdown Part II

Hi all - just thought it might be time for a bit of a countdown update for you all - it is now 35 sleeps until I leave Wellington and 41 until I leave New Zealand. Even more shocking is the fact that I only have 22 work days left (that's three paydays people - THREE!!!). My tickets should be ready this week and my passport is due back any day now with all my visas in it... I am just waiting for the control-freak Clare panic to come up with a new thing to worry about and I will know the trip is really happening. I will let you know what my control-freak side comes up with!

Hi all - not really much to say but I didn't want you to get out of the habit of reading my blog so thought I should put up a quick post! Really glad to see the Crusaders take out the Super 14 at the weekend but I really feel for all the players involved - what a way to win and what a way to lose - crazy fog!!!

In travel news - my passport is allegedly holidaying up a storm in Sydney at the moment getting its Egypt visa all sorted. After that it is ticket collection time and then I suspect that travel jitters will kick in. So far still feeling pretty calm about the whole thing (surprisingly!)

The only other thing I wanted to say was HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! To those not in the know my dad turned 60 (I know - old huh?) on Friday. I am hoping to figure out how to put photos up on the blog soon so I can put up a pick of my family at the celebrations. I hope you are all well!
